I went to school early today. I arrived at school at 6:10 am. My lil bro was gonna have a field trip kasi eh… so there.
Then I did some stuff. Then i went back down.
Then i did bio. Then i did more stuff.
Then i had p6.
Then i had this two-subject break.
Then we had bio.
Then we had EnSci. But we were dismissed early because we didn’t bring popcorn.
Then we had lunch.
Then we had geom, which i slept in.
Then we had art, which i slept in too. Jiggs discussed some very interesting topics.
Then we had SocSci, where we discussed stuff.
Then we had PE where we played more soft ball.
Whew. The boring stuff’s now out of the way.
Daryll brought rubbing alcohol. Cyd brought Axe. Which belonged to someone who i dont know. Then there’s the lighter everyone has. Then theres the fourth floor.
We (Jiggs, Daryll, Janus, Me) went to a place where we placed alcohol on the floor. Lighting the lighter and spraying the Axe at lighter and the alcohol, gives you a flamethrower and a now burning floor.
Whats more fun is if you place the alcohol on your hand and set it aflame. Flame of Recca.
You know my school ID? You know Gambit? From X-Men? Luckily, my ID wasnt scorched. That much.
Joachim has something going on. Or something we got going on for him.
PE. Softball.
We were separated into three groups. One would catch a groundball that sir duliesco would bat, one would catch the ball that the groundball-d0ods would throw, and one group that run to the ball-catcher d0ods before the groundball d0ods would get the ball to the ball-catcher d0ods.
Jiggs was my partner because he’s number 8. I’m number 18. And the girl we would be assigned to would be Ms. Angeli Ramos (number 28) or Ms. Felina Siray (number 30) because Ms. Camille Sayson (number 29) chose this moment to get sick. Or unable to play.
Anyway, Jiggs can play softball really well. I can play averagely.
(yaaaaaaaaaaaK)
Of course, people like Mr. Michael Ramirez was very excited. To the point that he wanted to take my place in being number 18.
So there. In my group, people kept failing because…
- The throwers didn’t catchgroundballswell and didn’tthrowfastballsfast.
- The throwers fumbled the ball or made it go faaaaaaaaar away.
- The catcher doesn’t know how to catch.
- The catcher fumbles.
- The runner is too fast. (Good girl.)
- The do0d is scared of the runner. (Either because of… *cough* or because of… *cough*)
So Yun. Number 18 steps on to the plate. (The Red Mat. Whatever.)
He sees Number 8 ready.
In his mind, he can picture Mr. Ramirez. And Mr. Tuason.
*crack* The balls makes contact with the bat.
Jiggs expertly catches the ball with his sharp reflexes. He grabs the ball and throws a perfect pitch towards number 18 just as number 28 runs as fast as she can towards the plate.
With the reflexes befitting his title as Black-belt, he catches it with perfect precision. Yet in his mind, he must make a decision. Although he could make it, and that number 28 was still far, far away, he chooses to stay where he is.
And yun. Bakit? Trip ko. Para ma asar si Mike.
Pero I did ok na rin for Ms. Siray. So there.
If my actions did offend anyone, Ms. Siray and Ms. Ramos in particular, I humbly ask for forgiveness for I am simply a 14 year old boy. A stupid one.
Yoko ng mag ran.
Chronicles of the Uncommon Girl Hybrid Shaman.
http://iluvipud.wordpress.com/2007/01/27/levine/
Hehe. Yun nga lang, mahirap mag post. Ehehe. Kasi gusto ko pa ring mag Ran. Ewan.
My right point-er finger hurts. I can’t use it much. Prolly from the shoveling thing.
And my back hurts. Sort of. Well, not as much as i thought it would be. Manageable. XD
I turned on my cellphone this morning to find out someoe gave me 25 bucks as load. Woohoo! Yun nga lang, i don’t know who.
(Yeah right, you know very well kung sino yun.)
De, seryoso. Di ko nga ‘lam. I just have an idea of who. I just… really don’t know.
I’ll ask ‘em later.
Well, would you look at the time. It’s time for school.
Thanks Keith, for letting me try out being a pow shaman for a day. Now if you don’t mind, i’ll return to my hybrid shaman. ^_^
My day as a cement fatty.
(Yup, a cement fatty.)
But I’m not fat.
(I don’t think they know what a cement fatty is. They don’t play ran.)
Ok. A cement fatty is this monster in Ran that is slow and has a decent damage, and can attack thrice consecutively.
Anyway, what i did today.
kasi, yung poveda, may Gawad Kalinga “Volunteer” work sila. They were gonna build houses.
And by they, that means me, my family, some REAL volunteers who are hardworking, people who actually are supposed to work because they’re paid and household help (yayas).
So we were to build houses. I immediately volunteered to shovel, because thats a hard job. and being a guy, i had to uphold the being a man.
And it was really sort of unfair. We were the first to be there, and the last to stop working.
The other students were taking turns, taking shifts, then leaving. But we were there from start to finish.
Anyway, before i begin ranting again, i’ll share something with you people. And that is how to make cement.
First, you have this normal powder thing. Then you pour it with this cement powder thing. Then you mix it with shovels. Each with a 1:1 ratio.
Then you bring in some rocks. Like gravel. Only bigger. You create a crater sort of thing with the pile of powder compound and pour the rocks in.
Then you pour water in the middle. First you wait until the sand absorbs it. Keep pouring until it’s not absorbed anymore. Then you SLOWLY pour in sand, the top of the sand, until the water’s gone. You put more water if it becomes too chunky. make sure water doesn’t spill from the side.
When part of your solution is mushy, you start churning stuff. You mix everything in. Add water if necessary. You’ll know when it’s necessary if it’s not mushy.
When it’s mushy, you now have cement! well, technically, it’s not yet cement until it’s dried.
Anyway, back to ranting.
So, there were like 5 rounds of cementing. We had to repeat the above process five times. And it’s not a small pile or anything. It’s like… 10 sacks of the gray powder thing, 10 sacks of the cement thingy, 10 sacks of rocks, and a lot of buckets of water.
Like i said, from the start, I took a shovel and helped mix. Occasionally, I would help carry sacks or throw in rocks. But most of the time, i shovelled.
Now, with me was my cousin. If you know my cousin, he’s really buff. At one point, while he was taking a break, he said to my sister, “I’d like to thank my sponsors, Fitness First…”
There was also the REAL construction people, 2 or 3 parents, and 2-4 students. So we were mixing the first batch. The other students had other jobs to do when building the houses. Like sanding the doorframes, bending wires and passing around the buckets. I was game.
I kept shoveling, mixing, putting in buckets, then shoveling some more.
Round two.
I we kept on doing the same. Hehe.
Round three.
People were now taking “shifts”. As in, “I don’t want to work anymore, why don’t you do it.”. People taking shifts were some of the parents, the other students, those in the bucket brigade, and stuff. Some other relatives (brothers, for example.) were now just drinking and eating in the pavillion thing. I was still shoveling, mixing and pouring. Non stop. Thank God for Taekwondo training. And taekwondo pants. I was wearing those black pants. They’re now… cementalized. A reminder of how much I worked that day.
My sister now joined us at shovelling.
Round four.
Even more shifts. The parents who were done with sanding the doorframes and windows and stuff now went to the pavillion to chat some more. My mom joined us at the cement mixing, taking a shovel or passing buckets to replace those who left.
At this point, my dirty-white, torn, damage rubber shoes are now gray, cementalized as well. Ah well. I kept shoveling and mixing.
Round five.
We weren’t done yet with pouring everything in round four when people started leaving. it was 4 pm na daw eh. they had to leave. The bucket brigade was now… gone. Me, my sister, my cousin, another person, and another person was like, stuck with the unfinished round 5. If nothing was done to it, it would cement there forever.
But what could we do? I mean, the student volunteers left. One of the REAL construction workers also saw it. I called his attention, saying, “Um… pano na po ‘to?” So, he and his other fellow workers made their own bucket brigade. My mom joined them too, and so did a helpful parent who saw what happened.
To tell you the truth, we even worked faster without them. Because when they (the student volunteers) were in the line, we had to half-fill the buckets. Now that REAL people were working, we could full the buckets. Now my cousin would use his Gym-trained muscles in lifting shit.
And i was just there. Shoveling. Even though others stopped, took breaks, i was there. And I kept shoveling.
So when we were assured that the 5th round was taken care off, we left as well.
My arms are tired, my back aches, i have difficulty breathing with all the sand, but I’m happy. I showed them.
Later on, went we went home, my cousin shared us a story.
“‘Lam mo, may isang parent, tumitingin lang sya. Siya yata yung head ng family day activities. So, nag huhukay ako. Tas i took a break lang, i mean, just a short break. as in, just stood to the side for like, 10 seconds. Then biglang she turned my way and saw me and said, “Paki hukay nga? Kailangan nila ng tulong eh.” Tas sabi ko, “Yes po.” “
I’m tired na. I’m too tired to even play Ran.
Other self.
‘Yokong mag kwento today.
(Bakit?)
Ewan. Trip ko. Nawala na kasi yung 1hr rosary ko eh. Tas umagang umaga. Look at the time.
(So… anong gagawin mo?)
Basta.
================
Hello people.
meet my other self.
(Hello.)
Sya si PJ.
(At siya rin si PJ)
So in a way, we’re both PJ.
(Except that I come in a separate line, plane, world and space.)
Yun. So he’s here to balance me.
(Minsan, people call me “Conscience”. Pero not really. I’m more of a… Balance-er kinda thing.)
Yeah. So he’s kinda both. When I say I want to Ran, he tells me to write in this blog instead.
(Yeah. And when I want to Ran, he tells me to keep blogging.)
So together, we decide everything that PJ does. But then sometimes…
(May isa pang umeepal. Pero minsan minsan lang.)
[Hi!]
Siya si PJ. We only see him whenever we two can’t decide.
(Pero bihira lang yun kasi most of the time, I win!)
Shatdapakap. Hindi ikaw ang nasusunod. Ako!
(Yes boss.)
So yun. So when you see me talking to PJ, don’t think na weirdo ako. I’m just a fun person.
(Hindi… weirdo talaga siya! I mean, talking to PJ in public? When other people are around?)
Shattap. Anyway, who would you believe? Him or me?
(Me!)
Me?
[Neither. You're both weird.]
Kaw riN! (Kaw rin!)
…
[Whatever.]
Yun! May kwenta na post na ‘to.
Hello. Trip ‘kong mag type ng random shit today. ’cause i’ve got nothing to do while waiting for people to play RAN with.
(Ba’t di ka nalang mag kwento ’bout yesterday?) Onga naman. Tama siya.
Kahapon… um.. ewan. I forgot na eh. (lagot… tumatanda ka na!) Shattap.
Ah! Yun. Maaga akong dumating. Nakapag Magic pa kami ni Driza. Ginamit nya deck ni Ma. Yung mono-blue counter-spell deck. As usual, gamit ko Unhinged. May iba pa ba ‘kong choice? Hindi namin na tapos yung laro kasi we were about to be judged by the Chem teachers sa project namin. Sayang. I looked at my next card and it was Mana Screw. Just what I needed. I already had 3 “Our market research…elemental” cards.
(‘nong nangyari sa Integ proj nyo?)
Obviously, talo. Which goes to show you that Rich will always triumph over Not-Rich. See who won. Dahlia and Sampa. They had rich people. Same for the R/C car race. Nanalo Champa. Rich dudes.
(Um… ok. Moving on, what happened pa?)
At mas gets ng reader what the fuck you’re talking about, diba?)
Fine. Whatever. Mag aanounce ng winners sa whatever during the YMSAT. Nung dumating ako, I saw people sa tabi sa may bleachers. Bakit?” At yun. Sumabay ako sa kanila. Pero pinaalis rin kami for some reason. Kasi daw, sila naman ang uupo dun. ’stig.
After that, yun. Balik sa back lob. Nandun yung Waterlily people and other people. Tulong kami. We got a half-an-illustration board na may letters. Nagsspell out, H-A-P-P-Y B-I-R-T-H-D-A-Y Y-S-Y. Yun. I got the letter I. Ewan ko sa iba. I forgot na. )
nagcochoreo kami. Game.
So first, yun. nandun na sa taas, punta kami sa field. Una, Nag happy birthday. Tas nag spell kami ng other stuff. Tulad ng
P-I-S-A-Y Go pisay! woohoo!
H-I-T-A Hita!! woohoo! (ewan)
P-A-T-A-Y patay! woohooo~! (wtf)
I-R … IR!!! Woohooo! Lagot Janus!
H-I… Hi Ysy! woohooo!
S-H-A-P-Y-P-I-P-A-Y! woohoo! shapypipay! ewan rin! pero masaya!
and finally,
P-A-Y Pay! Janus, bayad mo! Walang thankyou thankyou dito! Asan na bayad namin?
After that, magcclean na sila. Which means it’s time for me to escape to the fouthfloor for the Himig Practice. Kasi magpplay kami/cla/other people ng music ewan sa rockwell, powerplant. kaya yun.
So before the bus left, I stopped by the creek area (kung san nagcclean sila) and laughed at them. It was fun.
Pero karma, kasi i’m sick. eversince the day before, until today. I should start eating food. Seriously.
(Onga! payat payat mo!
Go PJ!)
shattap.
Yun.
So yun.
Uh…
Wednesday. YMSAT again. Stuff happened today.
Today, i brought my violin and jio and mike brought their guitars. I opened my case and put a sign “Alms 4 poor”. All we got was 12 bucks. 12 bucks.
Then people from other schools were starting to come over. So we had to quit our act and started manning shit.
I headed for the AVR where SaMaPi was to hold some talk about pirated CDs for 5th graders. Big surprise. 3rd Graders. So… things didn’t go as well as it should have. Ahehehe.
After a detour to the geom room, I went down. Then I joined other people on the metal railings going towards the caf. Then we did this thing where when one person said ”Hi (insert name !” The rest of us would chorus, “Hi!!” It was stupid, but fun.
Then I saw some Xavier people. I approached. It was ok. Then there.
Then I went with jio to this other place where we were to show what we were to present to people in rockwell or something. Anyway, after that… we went back.
Things were kinda slow after that, until it came to the afternoon. The Xavier people were leaving na. They saw me and waved goodbye and say Hi. After that, Ms. Caparros, Ms. Lat and Ms.Cordova came over and asked me stuff. I answered stuff.
Then when they left, Daryll laughed out loud while Janus shouted after them, “Merry Christmas”
^^ Janus, Daryll, Just keep quiet, ok? Keep it to yourselves. You know what I mean.
Size doesn’t matter.
In Ran, it takes a while to see who is really powerful… and who isn’t.
The saying goes, “Size doesn’t matter.”, meaning that sometimes, it’s not the most prominent feature that shows who’s really good. In Ran, you can hide your “level” by wearing new clothes and getting a smaller sword.
In Ran, the strength of a swordy lies in not the size of his blade, nor it’s width. Neither is it how fast he wields it. But really, it’s the amount of composture he can in containing himself to using his skillz.
In Ran, you can see the really powerful archers really, really easily. The hotter looking the character, the higher the level.
In Ran, brawlers are measured by speed. The speed of their fists, or how fast they cast skills.
But in Ran, Shamans aren’t measured by the skills they cast, or the weapon they hold. But instead, the number of balls floating around them.
(In short, Shamans are even more manly than guys.)
Di ako adik sa Ran.
Sigh…
..ang hirap ng buhay…
…especially yung buhay ko ngayon…
…araw araw, naghihintay…
…pumapasok, umuuwi…
Istambay, laro, takbo, away, gulo at yun…
Dahil sila’y masaya…
…masayang naglalaro, tumatakbo…
…
…
…
…
…
Dahil anak ng T*rres, Shaman ako. Hybrid. Taga Phoenix. Level 54 na ayaw nang mag level. Hindi Full Support. Hindi Full Attack. Wala pang HT. Wala ring Resu. Walang kwenta.
‘Di ako nag rorosaryo. Dial-up connection namin. Pag nag lag, wag ka nang umasa.
Buff. Heal. Konting Attack, PUTA NAMAN WAG KA NANG MAG SKILL, HEAL MO KAMI!!!!
(Amp, drama boy.)
gtfo.
(sheesh.)
wtfh happened to you, PJ?
(Tama naman. wtfh happened to you.)
Nag raran ako. Na sorta adik ako. so there.
Anyway, next week, YMSAT na. Masaya.
(Bakit? Ano ba gagawin mo dun?)
Well, first off, we did this Bio Integrated project. It’s really great.
The name of the game is Hex.
Slogans: Let’s Hex! It’s fun, it’s exciting, and it can keep you up all night long.
It’s really great because Hex is so light, you can have Hex anytime, anywhere. It’s also nice to play Hex with plenty of people because it’s not nice to have Hex by yourself. You can even play Hex at the 4th floor.
So i can think of the jokes now…
“Do0d! Hex tayo!”
“Oo! Hex tayo sa fouth floor!”
“Samahan mo friends mo para masaya yung paghe-Hex.”
Damn.
Tas there’s this Geom exhibit thingy. Basta. XD Ewan.
Tinatamad mag post. For some reason.
As if naman i cared about people coming here.
(Tama naman. Ran nalang tayo.)
Game. XD
